5820k vs 2 x E5-2670
« on: October 18, 2016, 10:03:37 AM »
Would one see any MAJOR benefit? (making DCPs, and other similar tasks)

2 x  E5-2670 - 16C/32T (3.30GHz Turbo) - somewhat "old" in terms of technology, DDR3 etc etc...
5820K 6C/12T (3.30GHz - Overclockable) - newer technology, DDR4 etc etc..

But I'm just looking for CPU power.. 4000-5000 multithread "points" difference over at Geekbench on the top results. But that's not reallife performance.
