opendcp_mxf audio
« on: March 03, 2017, 03:45:25 AM »
I get an error trying to wrap audio with start frame. I have no issue wraping picture, with the same start count.

[email protected]:/mnt/r/XXX$ opendcp_mxf -i audio24 -o xxx.mxf -n interop -r 24 -s 251

And yes, audio is there, and the same length.

Entering 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 works. "-s X"

Setting the start frame for an audio->mxf isn't supported. You can accomplish this by setting the duration during the DCP creation stage.

Okey. "Problem" was that I needed to make a Interop (unfortantly) package (which opendcp can not), so I had to cut it before, and package it witn another app.

Thanks Terrence.

OpenDCP does supports interop packages. By default it creates SMPTE, but you can specify interop.

Yeah, making MXF right.

But not for the final XML wraping/packing? I don't see any option in opendcp_xml to select that.

I see you have an option in the GUI version under "title generator". I rarley use that, all scripted.

The wrapping is based on the MXF files. It will auto-detect how the MXF files were created and generate the DCP accordingly.
